IoFlex Services Include:

Scanning To support the continued development of scanning-related software applications, IoFlex operates several document scanners as provided by the manufacturers. Capabilities include resolutions up to 1600dpi, page sizes up to 11x17, document feeding at speed up to 30 ppm, and the ability to scan single pages from film.

IoFlex can scan and post-process books using the IoCapture and IoScan programs, producing clean, aligned and optimized page bitmaps. This output, as TIFF files or encapsulated in PostScript or PDF files, can be delivered to the customer on CD-ROM or on-line via FTP.

Book jobs for scanning must be submitted as a set of unbound original pages, repro or copies. Alternatively, the customer may supply bitmapped data as previously scanned. In that case, IoFlex will process the data so that the pages are suitable for input to the required printing process.

Custom Software Utilizing the IoFlex software libraries, IoFlex can create new applications for manipulating page and image bitmapped data. These can be custom programs for an end-user, a "private label" application to be bundled with another vendor's equipment, or modules embedded in another vendor's software product to add functionality.
